RightNote License Agreement

You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using RightNote. Unless you have a different license agreement signed by BauerApps, your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty. If you do not accept these terms you must cease using this software immediately.

RightNote ("the Software") is copyright 2012 by BauerApps, all rights reserved.

Licensing terms and conditions

The Software is licensed, not sold. There is a Freeware, Standard and Professional version of the Software. Each version has more features than the preceding one respectively. A list of the differences between the various versions can be found in the help file.

The Freeware version may be used for both personal and commercial purposes.

The Standard and Professional versions of the Software are not free and may only be used for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. If you use the Standard or Professional versions of the Software after the 30 day evaluation period a registration fee is required. When payment is received you will be sent a registration key via e-mail. For information on ordering a registration key please visit www.bauerapps.com. Unregistered use of the Standard or Professional versions of the Software after the 30-day evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

After the 30 day trial period ends, the Software will revert to the freeware version.

For the Standard and Professional versions: one registered copy of the Software may either be used by a single person who uses the Software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single computer used by multiple people, but not both.

Restrictions

You are prohibited to modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software.

Support

People who have registered the Software (i.e purchased a license key) will receive priority support.

Distribution

You are hereby licensed to distribute free of charge, the original installation file of the Software without any modifications. You are specifically prohibited from charging for any such copies. You are specifically prohibited from distributing a registered version of the Software, a registration key, or a license file that may be produced by the Software derived from a registration key.

Disclaimer of Warranty

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED. GOOD DATA PROCESSING PROCEDURES DICTATE THAT ANY PROGRAM BE THOROUGHLY TESTED WITH NON-CRITICAL DATA BEFORE RELYING ON IT. THE USER MUST ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK OF USING THE PROGRAM.

Modification

Bauerapps reserves the right, at its discretion, to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice, and such revision shall be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Terms and Conditions at: http://www.bauerapps.com/rightnote_terms.txt
